Greetings

Digital Garage will hold "THE NEW CONTEXT CONFERENCE 2012 TOKYO" from September 28th-29th, 2012 in Ebisu, Tokyo. This year's theme is "The Movement of Next-Generation Online Business Arising From Open Innovation – Beyond The Smartphone Era –." The conference highlights on the concept of Open Innovation, which supports the ever-changing Internet industry—in the fields of "Internet Devices" and "E-Commerce."
Hardware development, which is traditionally time-consuming and expensive, has become increasingly popular among the startups as technology evolves: rapid prototyping by using 3D printers, enhancement of supply chains and the dissemination of open hardware. This track will focus on the latest cases of hardware development and examine how these movements change the dynamics of the hardware industry.
This track will look closely at the recent trends in the growing e-commerce industry—especially in settlement business and online shopping. It will include discussions on the future of payment devices and the impact it may have on offline shopping. Furthermore, it will go into details about the present state of the leading payment businesses in China and Southeast Asia.
