Named in Creativity Magazine’s annual “Creativity 50” as well as one of “the Top 25 Most Creative People in Advertising” in Forbes Magazine, Rei Inamoto is one of the most influential individuals in the marketing and creative industry today. Until the fall of 2015, Rei served as Chief Creative Officer of AKQA worldwide, responsible for delivering creative solutions for the agency’s clients such as Audi, Google, Nike, Xbox and many others. During his tenure, AKQA grew ten fold, growing to a network of 14 offices across the world. It also became the first agency in history to receive five Agency of the Year accolades from industry publications. In early 2016, Rei - along with Rem Reynolds - founded Inamoto & Co, a business invention firm that identifies new opportunities and creates best-in-class customer experiences by focusing on strategy, design and incubation. Rei is a frequent speaker at numerous conferences as well as a contributor of publications, making him a thought leader and a prominent voice in the industry. Originally from Tokyo, Rei spent his childhood and teenage years in Japan and Europe. He then moved to the US to complete his university studies with degrees in fine arts and computer science. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

Amy works with Leo Villareal and his team to navigate the strategic, logistical, conceptual and technical paths of public art opportunities as they are presented to Leo Villareal for his consideration and ultimately through their creation. She is currently Leo Villareal Studios Executive Producer on Illuminated River a 15 bridge public artwork on the River Thames.

The Bay Lights :
In leading the development and management of Leo Villareal’s largest artwork prior to Illuminated River, she assembled a world-class team which engaged donors and community, partnered with the necessary governing agencies, grew international awareness and produced this complex, renowned and now permanent iconic work of public art.

Non profit Leadership:
Amy is Founding Executive Director of Illuminate the Arts the presenting organization The Bay Lights and co-directed the launch of ZeroOne: The Art and Technology Network and its biannual international arts festival.

Amy was part of the initial team that launched and built WIRED Magazine, later holding Executive Producer posts at cutting-edge convergence cable startups ZDTV and Oxygen Media, followed by roles as Director of Marketing for both One Economy and Uth TV.

Kerenza Harris oversees advanced computational design and simulation for all projects at Morphosis. Her team focuses on the research, development and integration of advanced technologies into the design and construction process, using diverse software including 3DEXPERIENCE to model and rationalize forms, skins, and structures. She also guides the firm’s use of XR technologies to create immersive environments that aid in testing and communicating concepts through all phases. Joining the firm in 2008, she has played a central role in major projects including the AIA National Honor Award-winning Perot Museum of Nature and Science, where she led the creation and coordination of the facade’s innovative pre-cast concrete paneling system. Kerenza is also faculty at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), where her teaching focuses on digital design tools and construction. She is a frequent lecturer on design computation and the intersection of architecture and VR.

Since Joined DENTSU INC. in 2002, Kaoru Sugano has engaged in a wide range of project specializing in technology and expression, such as R&D for data analysis protocol, product service development for both domestic and overseas clients, and advertising campaign planning and production. His key works include Honda Motor Co., Ltd. “Sound of Honda / Ayrton Senna 1989”, Apple Appstore's 2013 Best App “RoadMovies”, Tokyo 2020 Olympic selection’s final presentation “Yuki Ota Fencing Visualized”, planning direction for last 15 minutes in the history of 56 years of the National Stadium Japan, GINZA SIX opening CM “Main Street”, and the music projects with Björk, Brian Eno and Perfume.

Jess Holbrook is a founder and lead of Google’s People + AI Research group (PAIR) that conducts human-centered research and design to make AI partnerships productive, enjoyable, and fair. Prior to joining Google, he was a UX Researcher at Amazon and Microsoft. He received his Ph.D in Psychology from the University of Oregon and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington.

Eric Rodenbeck founded Stamen Design in 2001 and is the organization’s CEO and Creative Director. Stamen is an internationally recognized data visualization design studio based in San Francisco. We develop projects for a broad range of clients locally, nationally and internationally, including National Geographic, The Audubon Society, and The Dalai Lama. Our work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and we have exhibited nationally and internationally in museums and galleries worldwide. Stamen is a recipient of the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for Interaction Design.

Amanda is a Director of Product Design at Facebook, managing the Artificial Intelligence and New Product Experimentation teams. In this role she is inventing new product solutions for Facebook, and designing AI technology for use across the Facebook family of apps. Prior to Facebook, Amanda was the head of design at Asana. At Asana she was responsible for product & marketing design, as well as the Asana brand. Prior to that, she was the Director of User Experience for Intuit's Small Business division. There, she led the redesign of Intuit Quickbooks web and mobile products, and also managed their payroll and payments experiences. Amanda has an MBA and a BS in visual communication from UC Davis.

Arvind founded IndieBio, the world’s largest biotech program based seed fund. Using a blend of scientific method and design thinking Arvind and the IndieBio team funds startups that can impact over a billion people or address markets over a billion dollars.
Beginning his professional life as an options market maker in the Pacific Coast Exchange in the Microsoft pit, Arvind left trading in search of a career with deeper meaning. Arvind set out and discovered design when IDEO hired him. As a design director of product development and strategy at IDEO, he led the team that designed the Samsung Galaxy Curve, amassed 8 patents, received many international design awards and moved to Shanghai to build the Asia product design team.
Further, Arvind co-founded Starters, a personal fitness app that gained thousands of users in 98 countries. Joining SOSV in 2013, Arvind became a venture capitalist to invest in biotech and deep science technologies including AR/VR and new user interfaces.
He is a regular speaker at TEDx, TechCrunch Disrupt, Slush conference, Startup Iceland and SFMOMA among others. His writing appears in Nature, Rotman, Forbes and Design Observer. He has been awarded 8 US Patents and has had his work in the SF Museum of Modern Art.
Arvind received his B.S. in Genetic Engineering from UCSB and studied Industrial Design at SFSU.
Arvind is married with two daughters. He is 2016 world champion in No Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has climbed El Capitan and other big walls, was a BASE Jumper and big wave surfer. He is currently trains MMA and BJJ.

Dave Troy is a serial entrepreneur and data activist in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently CEO and product architect at 410 Labs, maker of the popular e-mail management tools Mailstrom.co and Chuck. He has been acknowledged by the founding team at Twitter as the first developer to utilize the Twitter API, with his project “Twittervision,” which was featured in the 2008 MoMA exhibition “Design and the Elastic Mind,” curated by Paola Antonelli. His current projects use social network data to map cities and analyze disinformation campaigns. He is also organizer of TEDxMidAtlantic in Washington, DC, and lives in Baltimore with his wife and two children

Ryotaro Bordini Chikushi is a serial entrepreneur with a background in marketing, production, clean tech, arts & music. He is a crossfield runner between research, strategy and production. After 9 years in Tokyo, he moved to Berlin in 2009 where he plunged into the young startup scene. Ryotaro currently works on his 6th venture focussing on smart city technologies. Being born as a cultural hybrid, his mission is to create a bridge to foster synergies and nourish exchange in culture, business and lifestyle between Japan and Europe.
Ryotaro created liaisons which introduce projects and events from Berlin to Tokyo and vice versa since 2014 which is now to become a urban development project and hub for Japanese in Europe: NION Japan Town at the heart of Berlin.

Miki is a Commercial Innovation Program Manager at the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory, where she oversees activities and strategic programs in partnership with startups, Fortune 500 companies, and academic institutions. Combining her multidisciplinary background and passion for space-based research, she advocates for utilizing the space environment to advance science and technology research and development for the benefit of life on Earth. Her portfolio spans a wide range of research areas, including aerospace technology development, remote sensing, bone research, synthetic biology, and sustainability-focused studies. Prior to that, she was a scientist at a clinical research organization to help pharmaceutical companies to run clinical trials for FDA approval, mainly for therapeutics for musculoskeletal systems. Miki received a BA in physics with an astrophysics minor emphasis from the University of California, Berkeley; an MS in aerospace engineering from San Jose State University; and a Ph.D. in bioengineering through a joint program from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco.

Lisa is a creative director at SYPartners, where she leads a range of cultural transformation projects in San Francisco, New York, and Tokyo. Prior to SYP, she was the co-founder of the MIT Media Lab's Director's Fellows Program, a program that catalyzes collaborations between the technologies of the MIT Media Lab and creative changemakers all over the world. Lisa runs a small nonprofit called The Tofu Project that empowers social activists and entrepreneurs in Japan with leadership and design thinking tools. She was once a tech and culture journalist for outlets such as Wired, Popular Science, The New York Times Magazine, Boing Boing, and PRI’s Studio360. She is a 2015 Asia Society Young Leader and a US Japan Leadership Program Fellow, and was listed as of Forbes Japan’s Top Women to Watch in 2018. She holds a BA from Tufts University and a MA from Columbia University.
